Anniversary of Dylan’s Hammers Debut
The 13th anniversary of Dylan Tombides’ first team debut for West Ham United FC was marked on September 25th, 2025. It was an extraordinary achievement to play sport at an elite level, given the amount of treatment Dylan had experienced for testicular cancer, since his diagnosis the year before. But Dylan just refused to give up on his dream, whatever was thrown at him. It’s a remarkable example of determination that continues to inspire so many people today.
Maco Park Coin Collection at Stirling Macedonia v Perth Glory
Massive thanks to Stirling Macedonia FC who raised $500 AUD for DT38 through a gate coin collection at their pre-season friendly against Perth Glory FC, at Maco Park on 6th September, 2025. Both clubs are partners of DT38. Glory won the fixture 7-2.
Dylan Tombides Award Winner Announced at Stirling Lions FC
Huge congratulations to young Alex Canadas who deservedly scooped the Dylan Tombides Young Player of the Year Award at the Stirling Lions FC Juniors & JDL Trophy Night 2025. Alex plays in the U16s division and he’s a star of the future! Stirling Lions is the youth section of Stirling Macedonia FC, a partner club of DT38 down under.

The sold out DT38 UK Golf Day 2025 was massive! And plans are underway for 2026. In the meantime, wonderful event sponsor First Response Site Services has produced this brilliant magazine to commemorate the event

DT38 Appoint New UK Trustee
We are delighted to announce that Chris de Lima has been appointed as a Trustee of DT38 Foundation in the UK. Chris has moved across from our Australia team where he had been a Director of our charity for several years. Chris is a long-standing friend of the Tombides family and we are very pleased to welcome him into the UK team.

What a masterplan! Here’s DT38 Ambassador Jake Cox rolling with it when he went to see the ultimate rock n’ roll stars Oasis live in Los Angeles in September 2025. He’s a clean living young man, so he didn’t need cigarettes and alcohol to have a good time. Some might say Jake was lucky to get a ticket but if you didn’t, stop crying your heart out and don’t look back in anger, we’re pretty sure they’re not going to slide away, they’ll be back.
