Two Hammers. Two Challenges. One Cause

Next Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, two dedicated West Ham United supporters will take on separate fundraising challenges for DT38. Royal Navy veteran Ian McNamara will walk and cycle from Belfast to London Stadium between 25 March and 3 April 2027, aiming to raise £2,000. You can support Ian via his JustGiving page. On 4 April 2027, Jamie Hall will run the Brighton Marathon for DT38, with his fundraising page coming soon. Jamie has remained a close friend of the Tombides family since his friendship with Dylan, and his continued support means a great deal to everyone at DT38. We thank both Ian and Jamie for helping us raise awareness of testicular cancer and the importance of early detection.

Cox Murder Mystery Night Raises £1,500 for DT38

Case Closed – £1,500 Raised! A huge thank you to the Cox family for hosting a fantastic Murder Mystery Night at The Montague Inn, Shepton Montague, on 27th June, raising an incredible £1,500 for DT38. Our Co-Founder, Tracy Tombides, was delighted to attend and witness the amazing support first-hand. Thanks to everyone who helped crack the case and make the evening such a success. Every pound raised helps us continue spreading our life-saving message: Delay is Deadly. Get Educated.

The Impact of Dylan’s Legacy – A Mum & Son’s Story

This month, we shared a touching message from a West Ham United supporter and mother that highlights the lasting impact of DT38’s work. After asking her son if he was checking himself, he replied, “Every month, just as we were taught in school.” His PSHE teacher had shared Dylan’s story and encouraged regular self-checks. It’s a powerful reminder that Dylan’s legacy continues to educate and inspire young people, reinforcing the importance of checking regularly and catching testicular cancer early.

DT38’s Picture of the Month

Our Picture of the Month roars onto the podium courtesy of Australian Sprint Car driver Phil Smith, who has given his race car the full DT38 treatment! Talk about putting our message in the fast lane. We love seeing Dylan’s legacy racing around the circuit and reaching new audiences with every lap. A huge thank you to Phil for carrying the DT38 colours with such pride—we’ll be cheering you on all the way to the chequered flag!
