Huge thanks to everyone at Perth Glory FC for an amazing Awareness Day on April 12th.
The annual event at HBF Park was centred around Glory’s A-League fixture with Adelaide United FC and it was special throughout.
A team of DT38 mascots lit up the stadium in their fluorescent orange DT38 shirts on a wonderful evening raising awareness of DT38 and testicular cancer including a very emotional applause on minute 38 to pay tribute to Dylan.
An audience was treated to a very special address inside the ground from Mauro Rivas who talked about his own testicular cancer journey. Mauro recently organised a fundraising and awareness wellbeing event, which was in aid of two charities including DT38. He played in the same football league as Dylan as a youngster.
And the night was topped off with an exhilarating 4-1 victory for Glory over Adelaide United FC.
Here’s a gallery of images from the day.
