dt38 awareness match at brisbane roar – in pictures

Big props to our friends and partners at Brisbane Roar for serving up a wonderful awareness game and a cracking victory in April.

Suncorp Stadium was the place-to-be on April 17th as Brisbane Roar FC claimed a win over Western United FC on the same day as helping DT38 raise awareness of testicular cancer in memory of Dylan Tombides.

Young mascots lit up the ground in bright orange shirts as they entered the arena with their footballing heroes ahead of the A-League clash.

And the match, which ended in 2-1 victory for the Roar – was punctuated by a moving 38th applause to pay tribute to Dylan on Minute 38.

DT38 Australia’s Head of Media & Operations, Donna Giuffre, was at the game and took part in media interviews and ambassadorial duties around the ground.

The event afforded DT38 a brilliant platform in-stadium and via the TV cameras, to both fundraise and to raise awareness of our charity’s brand and the risks of testicular cancer.

Once again, huge thanks to everyone at Brisbane Roar FC for making this happen.

Here’s a gallery of images from the day.
