Did you know? We often promote the fact that testicular cancer disproportionately affects young males, but it can get men and boys of any age. Stats shared by John Hopkins University state that 7% of cases in the USA are in men aged above 55 years old. Please be aware guys.

DT38 Awareness Day at London Stadium – DATE SET

The 11th annual DT38 Awareness Day is on 25th April, 2026. The event will take place around West Ham United FC’s EPL fixture with Everton FC. We’ll be releasing more details about activities and how you can get involved very soon.

Aussie Keeper WINS 2025 Dylan Tombides Medal

Steven Hall; Australian PFA; Australian FA; Dylan Tombides Medal; award; presentation during the 2025/26 season at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre on the 22nd January 2026.

Australia youth team and Brighton & Hove Albion FC goalkeeper Steven Hall is the recipient of the 2025 Dylan Tombides Medal, awarded by The PFA and Football Australia for a player “who exemplifies the standards, commitment, and courage of the late Tombides when representing Australia at youth international level”. Huge congrats Steven!

Brisbane Roar FC Awareness Match – VENUE CHANGE

The venue of the third annual DT38 Awareness Match at Brisbane Roar FC has now changed. The A-League clash with Perth Glory FC on 28th February 2026 will now take place at Kayo Stadium. Roar is a charity partner of DT38 and will help us raise awareness on the day.

BIG UPDATE: Run for DT38 on the 12th Anniversary of Dylan’s Passing

We have a major update on this event: Brilliant DT38 Ambassador Gareth Vidler is assembling a team of runners to take on the Cowdray Estate Trail 12k run in West Sussex (in South Downs National Park) on 18th April 2026. The event takes place on the 12th anniversary of Dylan’s passing. If you can commit to raising sponsorship and would like to join his DT38 team please email him Gareth.vidler@plumbase.co.uk

NEW DT38 Ambassadors Announced

We’re delighted announce two new Ambassadors this month. Leo Webster is a testicular cancer warrior who battled the disease two years ago, he wants to help D38 raise awareness and Dylan Tombides’ team-mate Jake Barker-Daish is now officially part of our team having supported up for some time. Welcome aboard guys, we’re delighted to have you!
