SPIRE RODING HOSPITAL AND DT38 FREE TESTICULAR CANCER SCREENINGS

Spire Roding Hospital in conjunction with DT38 Foundation are providing free screenings for testicular cancer on Saturday 20th May between 10am- 2pm.

DT38 foundation was set up in memory of Dylan Tombides, a former West Ham United footballer who was just 20 when he lost his battle with testicular cancer. The foundation has made great strides in tackling the stigma surrounding men’s health issues with a focus on testicular cancer.

Founder of DT38 and Dylan’s mother Tracy Tombides says, “the most important thing for us as a charity is to ensure that we are educating the youth of today to take their health into their own hands and to equip them with the necessary knowledge about testicular cancer to know what to do if they present with any symptoms.”

DT38 are thrilled to be partnering with Spire Roding Hospital again to encourage more men to get themselves checked and inform them about the crucial message-delay is deadly, get educated. “Early detection of testicular cancer can be the difference between life and death and as a parent who has lost a child to this horrific disease, I urge as many men to get along to this free screening offered by Spire Roding Hospital and to digest the information that DT38 is sharing about the importance of self- checking and early detection of testicular cancer.”
