Hey team, can you slay the 38k? Are you ready?

Muster your mates, bring in your buddies, rouse your pals and join the DT38km Challenge this September to mark the tenth anniversary of the passing of Dylan Tombides.

We launched the individual event on March 6th and now we’ve very proud to unveil the Dylan Tombides DT38km Challenge TEAM EDITION.

We are honouring the memory and legacy of the talented young Australian footballer who courageously battled testicular cancer, by inviting people to complete a 38 kilometre challenge in September for charity.

Dylan captured hearts worldwide with his remarkable journey, from scoring for Australia in the 2011 Under-17 World Cup; to being diagnosed and making his senior debut for West Ham United while undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment.

His resilience and spirit inspired many as he continued to shine on the field despite his health battles. Unfortunately, Dylan lost his brave battle with cancer in April 2014, but his legacy lives on through initiatives like DT38.

By participating in the Dylan Tombides DT38km Challenge Team Edition, you can make a difference in the fight against testicular cancer, the most common form of cancer among boys and young men worldwide.

To take part you need to build a team of up say two, four or six people (it’s up to you) but this time you can share the 38km between you.

All you need to do then is decide how you would like to complete the 38km as a unit within the 30 days of September, 2024.

Whether, between you, you choose to run, cycle, swim, walk, or a combination of any of these, your fundraising and determination through this challenge will help make a difference to people’s lives.

And we’ll share many of your achievements with our 38,000 social media followers and in Channel38, our official newsletter.

Sign up by August 1st and set up your fundraising page to receive your complimentary DT38 Running Pack and be part of this historic event. Together, we can educate others about the importance of early detection and support those affected by testicular cancer. Join us in honouring Dylan’s memory and saving lives through the Dylan Tombides DT38km Challenge.

If you would like to sign up, all you need to do is fill out this form. The form can register 4 people, but if you would like more, for example 6 people, then please register the extra 2 people on a second form using the same team name

Delay is deadly. Get educated.

Thank you.
